Day 1: Meeting of the ISC3 Board and Part 1 of the ISC3 Stakeholder Forum
9.00 – 13.00 h: Meeting of the ISC3 Advisory Board and the ISC3 Scientific Board
13.00 – 14.00 h: Lunch “Meet & Greet”
14.00 – 18.30 h: Stakeholder Forum – Part 1 “Mission Sustainable Chemistry”
- Introduction to the mission of the ISC3 as a new, independent international centre fostering sustainable chemistry solutions worldwide
- Dialogue on the opportunities and challenges of the emerging concept of “Sustainable Chemistry” and the mission of the ISC3
- Dialogue on the development of “Common Understanding of Sustainable Chemistry”- voicing expectations and defining shared goals and principles
19.00 – 22.00 h: Evening Programme and Dinner
Day 2: Part 2 of the ISC3 Stakeholder Forum
9.00 – 16.00 h: Stakeholder Forum – Part 2 “Transforming Chemistry”
- Introduction to the strategic approach and the five activity fields of the ISC3: collaboration, innovation, education, research and information
- Dialogue on finding and implementing activities which enable transformation towards sustainable development in the chemical sector and beyond
- Sharing experiences and building new partnerships to foster sustainable chemistry
- Special insight: The ISC3 Collaborative Foresight Programme on the “Circular Plastics Economy”: introduction to the global scenario process on the future of plastics and the expert dialogue on sustainable chemistry and the use of plastics in buildings and living
